Compare Apples-to-Apples

When pricing luxury cruises it is important that you compare apples-to-apples (actually this is true for all cruises). Some cruise lines have several additional costs that will increase your base fare. In addition to mandatory extra fees (like gratuities), most people pay extra for such things as Wi-Fi, shore excursions, soda (no soda isn't free on most ships), alcoholic drinks, specialty coffees, specialty restaurants, and more. Plus you have to add the cost of flights to and from the cruise ports, and the cost of at least one day for a hotel before the cruise to minimize airline delays which could cause you to miss your cruise.

These extra charges, which make the cruise much more enjoyable, can add hundreds of dollars to the base cruise fare.

Regent's All-Inclusive Pricing Add Tons of Value

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers an all-inclusive price that may appear high until you do the math. Their all-inclusive price includes free Wi-Fi, specialty restaurants (at least one night in each specialty restaurant per cruise), gratuities, alcoholic drinks, soda, bottled water (yes, many cruise lines charge for bottled water), shore excursions, plus in most categories it includes an one night stay at a hotel near the port prior to the cruise, and starting in 2017 on International cruises, free business class airfare.

As the charts below show, once you add in all of these extras, Regent Seven Seas Cruises are highly competitive, and even cheaper than other luxury lines and even some premium cruise lines.

If you want to experience luxury cruising at a really competitive price, give us a call. The March 2017 sailing of the Explorer in the Caribbean is an incredible deal.
